School

Overview:

In school, I aim to challenge myself. During middle school, I always had academic pressure from my parents to perform well or I couldn’t have any of my privileges. Middle school was fun and I enjoyed it, but high school was important to me. I had to make sure that I joined something that would make me challenge myself and increase my skills. I joined IB (International Baccalaureate) for a better high school education.

My Experience in School

Club Activities

All of my years in High School, I participated in Key Club for all four years. Two out of those four years in Key Club I am the treasurer. I also co-founded Computer Science Club and am the treasurer there too. Jobs

Extracurriculars

I play a lot of tennis and to help out I would go to tennis girls practice to help. Sometimes I'm helping and other times I'm trying to improve my game. I also tutored tennis for younger students in middle school.

IB (International Baccalaureate)

Ib, an intense and demanding course of study, proved to be a significant challenge in my academic journey. The International Baccalaureate (IB) program is renowned for its rigorous curriculum, requiring students to engage deeply with a broad range of subjects. The comprehensive nature of the program pushed me beyond my academic comfort zone, demanding critical thinking, extensive research, and effective time management. Jobs The workload was substantial, and the expectations for independent learning were high. Juggling multiple subjects, each with its own set of assessments and projects, required meticulous organization and a disciplined approach to studying. The extended essay, a core component of the IB, proved to be a particularly formidable task, demanding in-depth research and the ability to synthesize information cohesively. Moreover, the program fostered an environment that encouraged holistic development, emphasizing not only academic excellence but also creativity, service, and a global perspective. Navigating the balance between academic pursuits and extracurricular commitments challenged my ability to prioritize and manage my time effectively.
